1. Dead Battery

Many people assume that the reason their car will not start is because of a dead battery. In many cases, they are right. Even if you did not leave your lights on, the battery could die due to old age or corrosion. Extreme heat or cold can also do it. If you ever notice that your lights seem dimmer or that it is taking longer for your car to start, have the battery checked right away.

2. Ignition Problems

If you notice that your headlights will turn on but that your engine will not turn over, the ignition may be the problem. These symptoms indicate that your battery is okay. A faulty ignition is an issue that should be diagnosed by our professionals.

3. Starter Motor Malfunction

Have you ever heard a clicking noise when trying to start the car? This frequently indicates that the starter motor has burnt out. Without it, your car cannot get the power to turn over the engine.

4. Out of Gas

Sometimes, we simply run out of gas. Perhaps you forgot to check recently, or maybe the gas gauge is malfunctioning. If you believe there is an issue with your gas gauge, bring in your car for an inspection so we can determine what is going on.

5. Fuel Filter Clog

On the other hand, your vehicle may have gas, but it struggles to get to the engine. This happens when the fuel filter becomes clogged. Your vehicle's manual should tell you how frequently your fuel filter should be replaced. You can also bring your car in to see us, and we can let you know how yours is looking.
