Alfa Romeo might be about to introduce a new crossover model to their lineup. According to Autoblog, the automaker just trademarked the name Kamal, which indicates that they may be looking to produce a new vehicle sometime in the near future.

The Kamal (pictured above) was a small CUV concept that the automaker released in 2003, so we’re very excited that this gorgeous design might be finally coming to our Alfa Romeo dealership in Scottsdale.

Kamal might not be the only crossover joining the Alfa Romeo lineup, as they have also said they plan on releasing the new Stelvio model sometime soon. Stelvio will be based on the Giulia sedan, while the Kamal would be a slightly smaller model, giving customers a nice range of luxury crossover choices, depending on their needs.

There’s no word on when we might finally get these two Alfa Romeo models, but we hope that by late next year, we’ll be able to finally take them for a much-anticipated test drive. For now, visit us at Alfa Romeo of Scottsdale today to take one of our Alfa Romeo 4C sports cars for a spin around town to get a first-hand account of true Italian luxury.
