Specs at a Glance

If you asked around, I feel that most people haven't even heard of the 2022 Alfa Romeo Giulia. Most automotive enthusiasts are more familiar with the Alfa brand than people who drive. This is also true for Alfa's Quadrifoglio models. Here at Alfa Romeo of Scottsdale, we're true car fans. We thought we'd take some time to look at two vehicles that most people aren't thinking about - the 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia and the 2022 Alfa Romeo Giulia.

Performance

Performance has to be earned by a high-end car manufacturer, and Alfa Romeo has been busy making it. It all started with the release of the Alfa Romeo 4C, but thanks to low sales numbers in the US, no one got to experience what the brand had to offer. Until 2015, they brought over an all-new model that would set the standard for future cars - the new fastback Giulia Quadrifoglio. Performance is something that this vehicle should come with as standard because it comes with a 2.9 liter twin-turbo V6 that makes 505 horsepower and 443 lb.•ft of torque from just 2,900RPMs up to 5,500RPMs. As if that wasn't enough power for you, this engine also features cylinder deactivation, which helps save fuel by switching off cylinders not needed at certain speeds or loads; using three instead of 6 cylinders at lower rates - saving energy and increasing efficiency.

Appearance

The Alfas Romeo Giulia appears to be very sleek and elegant in styling. It has attractive and simple lines that remind me of the brand's older models, like the original Giulia GT. The boot/trunk (or boot as they say in Europe) is large enough to fit luggage for a long weekend trip but small enough not to bulk up the car unnecessarily. The nose of the vehicle stands out prominently due to its thin headlights that are slightly curved at the top. Further down the front of the hood are parking sensors in a sharp-looking housing; this is an example of modern safety features that reflect a conscientious design aesthetic. I also like how low-slung and proportionate the front grill creates an airy look for the engine bay ahead.

Features

You find a car that's designed to shake things up and make the world sit up and take notice. The Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio does just that: shaking the foundations of conventional notions about what a high-performance luxury sedan should be. It is an entirely new car from top to bottom, powered by ground-up engineering that redefines the segment in driving appeal, performance, design, and craftsmanship. Its design has been optimized for driving pleasure with style, agility, and precision. And its advanced Twin Turbo V6 engine delivers breathtaking performance - from 552 HP on overboost - with state-of-the-art technology that separates it from anything else in this class.

The 2022 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio and the 2018 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio have unique and distinctive features. Although they are both in the same Giulia category, they are vastly different. However, this comparison article cannot be used as an avenue to determine whether you should buy one over the other. The only answer to that question is your preference. If you are sure which car fits your specific needs, please visit our dealership for more details about our cars and financing offers. We will do our best to provide you with excellent customer service from test drive to purchase.
